TOP 100 ACTORS is a ranking platform built to answer a question the film world has never answered fairly: who are the finest actors alive, measured across every major industry rather than a single one? Cinema is no longer confined to one capital. Nollywood releases more titles than anywhere on earth, Bollywood and the wider Indian industries sell more tickets than any other market, Korean, Arabic, French and South African stories travel worldwide on streaming, and Hollywood remains the largest single revenue engine. Any credible list has to hold all of that in one frame.
Headquartered in Sandton, Johannesburg, our editorial team works with contributors and industry analysts in each covered region. We publish one flagship global 100, plus a dedicated 100 for each region, refreshed annually with rolling updates as major work is released.

Truly global
Most rankings are written from one market's point of view. We weight seven regions equally, so a lead in Lagos, Mumbai, Cairo, Johannesburg, Paris or Los Angeles is judged on the same scale.

Awards, festival selections, critical reception and the difficulty of the roles taken on carry the heaviest weight. Range across genres and languages is rewarded.
